Bangladesh and India are South Asian neighbours. Generally relations have been friendly, although sometimes there are border disputes. India has a high commission in Dhaka with a consulate in Chittagong. In a survey, 70% percent of Bangladeshis expressed a favorable opinion and perception of India.
